Downend Farmers' Market

A pleasant indoor venue, including refreshments, situated in Christ Church Hall, North Street, a short way from the roundabout outside Somerfields; this market is near the local shopping area with its associated parking, and is very convenient for parents taking children to the local Infants School.

Most of the Farmers' Market is under cover; there are refreshments (often provided by local community groups) and toilets. Disabled access is excellent. Parking behind Somerfield (300yds) is recommended, but some short term parking outside the hall is possible.

The market has a wide range of producers; bread, cakes, cheese, eggs, fruit, meat, pies, plants, poultry, vegetables and vegetarian dishes.

Held every fourth Friday, 8.45am until 1pm.

Occasionally held on the third Friday.
