Severn Farmers' Markets

We run Berkeley and Dursley Farmers' Markets in Gloucestershire and Downend, Emersons Green and Yate Farmers' Markets in South Gloucestershire.

The Farmers' Market Organisers are also Producers who sell at the markets. We like to run markets that that have good facilities, are fun for customers to attend and financially worthwhile for producers. Some of our producers are very experienced; however, we also enjoy encouraging small scale and novice producers to try selling at their first Farmers' Market.

Aims

We aim to organise markets that provide a wide range of first quality, sensibly priced food and plants for local communities; run low cost markets with good facilities for producers, and link up with local groups, giving them opportunities for fundraising.

Our producers live very near our Farmers' Markets, which cuts down food miles. We select producers who take a real pride in their produce and because of this, we can offer specialist foods of the highest quality.
